What can you say about Venice? One of the most amazing cities in the world. So much history, and so different from almost every other city in the world. It's vibrant yet tranquil, rugged yet gentle, colorful yet subtle. And, almost everywhere, any time of the year, you'll find windows with flowers.
Most photos of Venice seem to focus on the canals and gondoliers, but to me, the historic buildings, and the people within and about, are what really gives the city its character.
