This has been a warm winter over most of the US (unlike most of Europe) and, here in Florida, even warmer than normal. We've even had our fair share of rain lately, which is usually more of a summer occurrence.
Last week, while leaving the house in the morning, I spotted this rose leaning across the sidewalk, covered in beautiful, perfect raindrops. The light wasn't the best, but the rose was literally begging to be seen. So, back in the house I went, and grabbed the 50mm f1.2 for some depth of field fun.
Sometimes, the busy world just has to wait while you smell the flowers.
