The Light From Within

I'm always on the lookout for unique views and unusual photo opportunities, and this one jumped out at me – not every day do you see a torchiere in a stone foyer with open windows! And, at dusk, the orange glow of the lamp lent a nice warm glow to the interior of the stone building.

In this composition, I've quite literally tossed the rule of thirds out the window, but I like the way it looks. I hope you do, too!

Really interesting. Looks like a building from a themepark. I like the tones!

OK, truthful disclosure – this is indeed in a theme park, Busch Gardens, Tampa, FL. It really caught my eye with the orange glow in the waning light – very dramatic.
