Here in Saint Petersburg, we are blessed with mild temperatures year round, and that means that our local Saturday Morning Market is bustling throughout the year. Winter is a big season for local growers, with crops ranging from veggies of all sorts – lettuce and greens, to peppers and avocadoes, to citrus and, locally, strawberries.
On a recent Saturday I happened to be carrying my camera, and the produce at the organic stand from Worden Farms looked so vivid and attractive, I was compelled to make some photos of nature’s bounty. This is one collection of images that looks good enough to eat!
