Lightroom and Photoshop are not mutually exclusive tools; in fact, they were designed to work together, hand in hand. Often, you’ll develop an image in Lightroom, but will want to switch to Photoshop to take it the rest of the way to your vision. Fortunately, Adobe’s new Creative Cloud deal for Photographers offers us a great way to gain affordable access to both of these tools (but only until December 31!).
